J.Juan held the first world event on a World Cup circuit since the beginning of COVID

It brought together 560 workers at the Privilege de Montmeló during the Superbikes Event

The Spanish company J.Juan has been the first in the world to hold an event on a motorcycle circuit since Covid began
Taking advantage of the fact that they could not celebrate their 55th anniversary and the celebration of Superbike competition in Barcelona, J. Juan invited all their employees to the Privilege area of the Circuit de Catalunya to enjoy a day of Superbikes.
Approximately 600 people were invited to a specific macro bubble, where all the necessary measures have been taken to avoid contagion. All attendees presented COVID passports or have passed a preventive control 24 hours before the event.
J.Juan has equipped the Kawasaki Racing Team with brake systems and components for the last 8 years and has won a total of seven world championships during that span, one from Tom Sikes and 6 from Jonathan Rea.
During the event, Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes presented some plaques of tribute to M. Angeles, Carlos and José Luis Juan, managers of J.Juan who, for 40 years, have been the architects of a great Spanish motorcycling industry.
J.Juan is a world leader in meshed hydraulic tube for motorcycles and is the second largest European brake systems factory in Europe. It invoices more than 70 million euros and employs 640 workers worldwide. It has recently signed a sales agreement by Brembo, a world leader in brake systems, which will strengthen its presence in the two-wheeler market.

J.Juan and Kawasaki Racing have renewed their sponsorship agreement for the next two years. 

This will be the eighth season of technical and economic collaboration of the Gavá company, in which Kawasaki has won its 7 world titles, six with Jonathan Rea and one with Tom Sykes. together with six manufacturer titles.

The signing of the agreement was made at J.Juan’s new facilities in Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona) where the brake systems and components of multiple premium motorcycles are produced

Kawasaki Racing Team has proven to be a team with great competitive capacity, dominating the specialty of Superbikes against very high-performance teams and riders.

Jonathan Rea, who has already broken world records, faces this championship with the challenge of achieving his seventh consecutive title. Quite a milestone. The Northern Irishman has expressed how much he values the J.Juan hydraulic tubes that equip his bike. He always stresses that “they are extremely reliable. The feeling is exactly as good on the first corner as it is on the last corners of the race, which allows me to focus on other things.”

Enduro Gas Gas equips Braktec’s innovative brakes

Gas Gas has already introduced its new Enduro division since the company passed into KTM’s hands.

Mattighofen’s released four models, two 2x models (EC 250 and EC 300) and two more 4x models (EC 250F and EC 350F versions.) All of them are equipped with Braktec’s new Enduro brake system (owned by J.Juan).

The system consists of a new factory hand master cylinder and caliper; A master cylinder and rear caliper has also been designed for the new models with a hydraulic clutch system.  All this has received outstanding reviews from publications that have already tested the bikes and have published their conclusions.

Components of the new Gas Gas enduros include Braktec brakes, Maxxis tires and WP front suspension with 48 mm Xplor fork.

J.Juan will appear in Disney’s film Black Widow, within the Marvel series The Avengers, starring Scarlett Johansson.
